Bermaz Motor, the exclusive distributor of Mazda vehicles in Malaysia, has revealed that the new Mazda CX-8 will be previewed at the Malaysia Autoshow 2019. Bermaz had previously gave a brief preview of this SUV at its Glenmarie showroom.
The CX-8 is due for an official launch later this year, and will be available as either a 6- or 7-seater in either petrol or diesel power. Engine choices are either the 2.5L SkyActiv-G petrol engine or the 2.2L SkyActiv-D turbo diesel. Continuing with Mazda’s KODO – Soul of Motion design philosophy, the CX-8 is slightly shorter and narrower than the flagship CX-9, which also seats 7.
You will be able to see the CX-8 in the flesh throughout the show (11 – 14 April) but the preview of the SUV’s interior are limited to these times: 11 am – 12 pm; 1 pm – 2 pm; 3 pm – 4 pm; and 5 pm – 7 pm.
Bear in mind that the display vehicle will not have the exact specifications of the actual launch models. But if you are interested, you can register that interest at the Autoshow.
The Mazda CX-8 will be locally assembled in Kulim, Kedah for the Malaysia and export markets.
