Honda e:N1 EV Launched In Malaysia; 500 KM Range, RM149,900 Introductory Price
Honda Malaysia has officially entered the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) segment with the launch of its first all-electric model, the Honda e:N1, offered at a launch price of RM149,900 (on-the-road without insurance; while stocks last). This milestone marks a significant expansion of Honda’s electrified vehicle lineup in Malaysia, which already includes its popular e:HEV hybrid offerings.
Reaffirming its commitment to electrification, Honda Malaysia Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Narushi Yazaki said, “We have been at the forefront of innovation, bringing advanced technologies to Malaysians. This journey began with IMA in 2004, and continued with VTEC Turbo in 2016, i-DCD in 2017, and e:HEV technology in 2020. We strive to draw strength from our history as we continue to power the future.”

Electric Performance Meets Honda Dynamics
The Honda e:N1 is powered by a 68.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering 150 kW (201 hp) and 310 Nm of torque. Three drive modes i.e. Sport, Normal, and ECON, provide flexible performance suited for both city and highway driving. Honda claims an estimated driving range of up to 500 km (NEDC cycle).

The e:N1’s clean aerodynamic design is highlighted by a smooth front fascia with a new white Honda “H” badge signifying its electric identity. Using the e:N Architecture F, the e:N1 is 4,380 mm long, 1,790 mm wide, and 1.592 mm tall; ground clearance is 142 mm.

Colour Options
The Honda e:N1 is available in 3 exterior colours i.e. Aqua Topaz Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Urban Gray Pearl. The latter 2 colours will have an all-black interior while the Aqua Topaz gets a gray interior theme.
