hi grayson,

thank for sharing the info with us.. I sent my car for service at EON
Kuantan.. on my first service, the service advisor brief that they have 2
mechanics dedicated only for mitsubishi cars which done their training in
Japan. and the mechanic did good job for my lancer.

for CVT gear oil, i think i'm gonna get it directly from mitsubishi.. SG
maybe..

normal gearbox & cvt gearbox atf lain. jgn campur. rosak gearbox. jgn
percaya dgn org eon servis ( betul cakap drmaze ). dia org hanya nak buat
kerja mudah. kalau you punya gearbox rosak, nanti you nak claim tak boleh
sebab you guna atf biasa. org mitsubishi motors akan kata you punya
kecuaian. eon punya foreman hanya specialist dlm kereta proton sahaja.
betul. baru nie saya servis grandis, foreman tu cabut air filter utk
diservis. bila nak pasang balik, dia tanya saya mcm mana nak pasang? ada
ka patut? fikirkanlah, waja gearbox 4 speed auto. sedangkan you punya
lancer glx cvt gearbox. cvt gearbox takda gear. cvt pakai pulley mcm
skuter. baik you tukar balik atf tu.

hi guys,
i'm new here. i own a lancerglx05 which has done 60k on mileage
and from nsdk,s'ban. so far the guys at eon s'ban know their stuff but
the service is costly. i do alot of town driving and at an average i get
about 350 to 370km for 70-75 ringgit. lately my fuel is getting higher.
any ideas from u guys how i can control my fc? i'm using 17" rims and
intend to lower the car soon. do you know where i can get fog lights and
if anyone wants to sell their original back spoiler (silver), i'm
interested in buying with original paint in good condition (if anyone of
have already changed to an evo spoiler).

Lancerbm & Grayson,

I've changed the ATF oil with mitsubishi diaqueen spIII recently (49K-km).
At 40K-km the eon monkeys put normal spIII oil. It immediately goes heavy
and gets hot easily on my left leg while resting on the gbox cover. Now all
problems gone. The price is RM130 a bottle (4 litres). Bit expensive but
it's worth it.

mykar,
thanks, i'll check back my service invoice to confirm what type of
oil they used at the sc. to what i know, the sc guy told me it is a
special oil for cvt and not the normal atf oil. where can i get this new
oil? a bit expensive lah. my car reaching 70k already and i might change
the oil earlier if necessary. did ur fc improve after the change?
u also said that ur gbox cover gets hot, i think that heat is
transmited from the exhaust pipe. i have the same problem and plan to
wrap the exhaust just for that part and add more deflective heat shield
soon.
