According to Service advisor, verbally he informed me that the ATF is
similar to waja. That is what give me worry because I read in City forum
that CVT requires different ATF than normal torque converter, or is that
just Honda-hype.
If you drive often than speed, I think it can be categorized as severe
driving :)
How is Satria GTi handling in comparison to Lancer? I guess, the GTi is
far better - stock to stock.
Even my previous wira 1.3 (almost stock), I feel can negotiate exit ramp
at 10 km/hr higher than Lancer (same ramp, both with family on board,
lancer can do 70 km/hr while wira 80 km/hr).
Are you sure Kuantan-KL 450 km? Distance from Kajang to Paka is only 400
km (in which I frequence once or two in a year :) )

Satria Gti handling is much better compared to the Lancer.. maybe due to
some std features on GTi such as sport spring, tyres, absober and etc.
with Gti, I can take corner easily (genting or karak) in high speed.. but
not with my Lancer.. otherwise, this is my first automatic car. not
enough experience yet..
In term of comfort, Lancer is great.. my family enjoy travel with
Lancer.. no complaint at all..
maybe you're right on the distance.. I guess 450KM is from Kuantan to
Klang coz my sister in law stay there.
what's the highest speed you get with your Lancer??

The highest I tried is 160 km/hr with my family on board - my wife
already bising. I believe it can go to 180 km/hr but should be very noisy
(the engine and also wind noise).
I like the comfort of Lancer. The comfort is better with original 14"
tyre than my current 16". Still, it is more comfort than my Optra5 and
much more than 2 of my previous wira (1.3 and 1.5 A).
I like to cruise the car around 120-130 km/hr. More than that, I feel
like I pushing the car.
How much you sold off you GTi? It is one of my dream car :)

I sold my Gti around 40K. maybe you can get one Gti as yr 2nd car.. you
will enjoy it.. trust me.
my highest speed also same as you.. include the noisy sound. BTW the
Salesman said that one of the special features on Lancer is the power
steering will OFF when we cruise on high speed. Is it true?
Did you lowered yr Lancer? what accessories else did you put? i'm looking
for a fog lamp.. but only can get it at singapore.

:) cannot afford another car. I have another Optra5 to maintain.
I'm not sure whether the power steering off or not at high speed. But, it
kind of normal for car nowadays to make the steering heavy at high speed
and light at low speed for easy turning.
I haven;t done any thing to the car except for putting in 16 inches
tyres. Yeah..I also looking for bodikit and fog lamps or maybe boot
insulator.

though - that's for all type of Lancers. A bit malu to play with evos :)
The new lancer is 2.0 liter. I suppose the price will be >130k, if CBU.
After the 30k service and after I drive the car a lot, I feel that the
car perform better. Previously, I only drive during weekend and not drive
that fast. Since now I can swap my car (optra5) with my wife, I can drive
lancer to work which I can wallop the car a bit :)
I sincerely think that we need to push the engine sometime to make the
engine smoother and ever willing to rev.

yeahh.. you're right.. even sometimes I use the 'Ds' for overtaking.
eventhough I can easily overtake with 'D' position.
last saturday I spotted Lancer with Evo bodykit at Kuantan.. the owner
replace the 'bonet' and rear bumper with evo + spoiler.
FYI.. I already change my windscreen due to long crack (hit by stone).. I
went to EON Semambu, Kuantan. It cost about RM1.5K
so as per advice by EON, I go for insurance claim.. but i have to make a
police report first becoz my insurance doesnt include windscreen. so
they 'potong' my NCB.
at that time, EON just have only one left.. if not, i need to wait for a
shipment directly from Japan.

bumper and bonet with the evo's. I read in zerotohundred.com that an
owner in Labuan covers the plate opening on his bonet and fabricates
number plate area on bumper :) It cost him around RM500 in Labuan.
Yesterday, when I unload my baby stroller, I scratched the rear bumper :(
