If u service at eon don't bother to check becoz they still use the same
bloody oil with their wajunks and all.
U can get the oil at spare parts shops in KL. But i dunno where la. I got
them in Ipoh coz I live here. The shops here sell plenty.
FC changed slightly better. However dun expect so much coz it's only 1.6
with heavy bodyshell. The thing u'll notice considerably is the cover not
warm anymore. Be it short or long distance driving. It feels smooth - just
like new. If it still got, it only feels like lukewarm water but soon it'll
dissappear.

if i buy this oil from outside and bring it to eon to change, do you
think it will void my warranty?

Hi.. any reputable workshop can fix them 4 u. The work is quite simple.
1st, they'll flush the oil, then fill up the whole 4lits of new oil. Then
on the engine, shift up down the gear. And that's all there is to it. I
forgot to mentioned yesterday, the oil is synthetic. That's y it's bit
expensive.
Cheers

No it won't void yr warranty. Unless u so decent to tell them la
The oil color is reddish. Same like the one eon using. So who knows?

thanks, appreciate your help. pls do keep me informed of anything
new you come across. oh, by the way, 17"rims with 45 series tyres - not a
good combination because the tyre rubs the inside wall when u take full
turn. 17" 40series - ok. just some info. i've tried both and now using
16" 50seies - ok.

I plan to change some stuffs too. Currently in my list:
1) Change to global lancer spirit 1.6 smoke headlights - darn cun!
2) Put ori mitsu strut bar
3) Change ori mitsu sports springs/suspension or tien instead
Those items above are all ori from mitsu. Just buy, plug & play. Dowan
stupid accessories like front lip or side skirting. I prefer standard.
However it's difficult to find them here in malaysia. The nearest is mitsu
thailand and singapore.
I'm taking time researching and in the mean time save some dough to get them.
Yeah, even the stock 15" (195/55/R15) oso rubs abit when taking full turn.
Don't u think changing to 195/50/ would do good? Can't put 16" coz i feel
it'll burn more petrol.

yah, my car is also standard and i like it that way, but i'm looking for
the original back spoiler only. if anyone have changed their original
spoiler to a evo type, i'm interested in buying. the headlight u spoke
about, is this the one that u can get at eagles eyes shop? i've seen one
on a s'pore car and it looks good. i think the price is 1k in kl. i'm
using jl racing front strut bars and a whole lot of difference in
handling, presently i'm looking for the back strut bar but i do have the
back upper bar and dont c any difference. also waiting to put in either
eibach, tein or other reputable 1" lowered springs (like u, waiting to
save some money first).
since i'm from s'ban, i need to go and scout around for the cvt oil that
you mentioned, i also when into some web sites to confirm and u r right,
diaqueen from mitsu is the best oil recommended.

The evo type spoiler is expensive lah bro. No, the headlights are ori -
mitsu hk/taiwan. But unless the accessories shop u mentioned selling, I
wouldn't know la. I believe we can get them in singapore.
I was thinking, would it be nice if we go and buy them together. Maybe can
get discount? Mitsu singapore has them all. Even Ralliart for CS3's. Maybe
we can discuss this in detail if we're serious in buying.
Bro, try looking the cvt oil at falken tyres company seremban branch. I
think they have it there.

i think u misunderstood me, i'm not looking for the evo spoiler, i
want the original lancer limited edition back spoiler which has its
original cool silver paint because i've seen lancers with the limited
model change to evo spoiler, so if they have their old spoiler, i want to
buy.
about the headlights, i think the units in kl r not original. and
guess what, i might be going to hong kong end of next month for 2 days
for work. i might not have the time to scout around but i'll try my best
to get some contacts there and maybe we can order by post.
i like the idea of going down to s'pore but not in the near
future, quite tied-up with work-lah bro. anyway, i don't know s'pore very
well (almost 0%). is it possible to wait till december? because my wife
would like to do her x'mas shopping there too and harap2 i get bonus-lah.
is the falken shop in s'ban under the 'stamford tyre group' in
rahang road? i've confirmed with the lancer manual yesterday, and yes the
manual clearly states 'dia queen atf spIII, so i'm going to eon and
demand what is right and sometimes when my mood is out, i really push
like mad until i get what i want (i just hope they dont test my
patiences), sometimes my attitude kicks in really hard and thats were
people get it from me.

Sorry 4 the late reply. Just came back from outstation. Bro, i'm refering
to the same notion as yours lar. Maybe our "bandwith" not synchronized
Well neeway, if you're looking 4 used one then maybe can get cheaper.
Yup, i like the idea. Maybe can get an indicative price. Does HK's currency
much lower than singapore? If HK price is higher than singapore/thailand,
then we'll see best place to get them. I have a colleague here who frequent
singapore often. Can ask him the way.
Bro, I'm unsure bout falken & stamford but I tell u don't push eon fellas
lar. No point. Wasting ur time. They'll never change. If u want i can get 4
u here. I'm, going to KL (god willing) next week. So mebbe can we meet and
hand it over to u. How's that?
Lemme know if u're serious.
