Shell #AkuRindu Campaign Offers Some Things Malaysians Miss

As the country moves closer towards flattening the COVID-19 curve, Malaysians are eager to get back to their daily routines. As people start to ease back into some semblance of a normal life amid the pandemic, Shell Malaysia aims to welcome customers back to its retail stations with extra rewards. Through its latest #AkuRindu campaign, Shell is taking the opportunity to reward its customers with four special offers at Shell retail stations nationwide.

Shell ran a social media campaign in April to understand what Malaysians missed most during the MCO. Thousands of Malaysians responded and shared their thoughts on the simple things they missed. This includes going back to their kampung, going on road trips, taking their kids out for a treat, swiping a card, and even the aroma of freshly baked pastries. Some of these are still not allowed (like making trips across state borders) while some are attainable (like pastries).

Armed with this insight, Shell Malaysia decided on the #AkuRindu campaign. This campaign features four offers to address some of the things Malaysians missed. Additionally, it provides customers with extra rewards.

The #AkuRindu campaign will apply at all Shell stations nationwide for four consecutive days i.e. 1 June (Monday) to 4 June 2020 (Thursday). The four rewards are:

Customers will enjoy 5X BonusLink Points when they swipe their BonusLink card to purchase any Shell fuels. Every one litre of fuel will gain you five BonusLink Points.

Tuesday, 2 June 2020

Customers will enjoy 50% discount on any Shell Advance AX7 Motorcycle Oil (1L). The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) before discount is RM33.00 to RM34.90 per 1L, depending on the variant. This offer is limited to the first 10 customers per Shell station.

On these two consecutive days, you can purchase either a Cornetto ice cream (Vanilla or Chocolate) or Goodday milk (Full Cream or Chocolate, 250 ml) for only RM1.00 each at any Shell Select store (while stocks last). The RRP of each item before the offer is RM2.00. Additionally, you can also enjoy a “Buy-1-Get-One-Free” offer at all Deli2Go outlets for the Hexagon Doughnut Deli2Go pastry (in Peninsular Malaysia – RRP RM2.90 each), and the Sardine Puff Deli2Go pastry (in Sabah and Sarawak – RRP RM4.00 each), also while stocks last.
