Honda Malaysia To Absorb 6% GST On Selected Models Until 31 May 2018
Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. has announced that in conjunction with the government’s announcement to revise the Goods and Services Tax (GST) from the current 6% to 0% effective 1 June 2018, that it will use this announcement as an initiative to offer a GST Bonus to its customers who plan to purchase their vehicles before the Hari Raya celebrations.
Under this GST Bonus promotion, you can purchase selected Honda models (between now and 31 May 2018; subject to stock availability) without having to pay the 6% GST as Honda Malaysia will absorb the tax. During this period, you will also be entitled to the on-going “Welcome Ramadhan Rewards” Honda bonus (subject to terms and conditions). The Honda models entitled for the GST Bonus are City (petrol variants), Civic, CR-V and HR-V.
The other Honda models i.e. Jazz, BR-V, Accord, Odyssey, Civic Type R, Jazz Hybrid and City Hybrid are not eligibile for the GST Bonus but are still entitled the on-going “Welcome Ramadhan Rewards” Honda bonus.
Honda Malaysia will soon announce on its new vehicle pricing in conjunction with Goods and Services Tax (GST), will be zero-rated effective 1 June 2018.
