The Renault Fluence Is A ‘Big Deal’
There are selected units of the 2017 Renault Fluence Dynamique being offered by TC Euro Cars (TCEC; the sole franchise holder of Renault cars in Malaysia) in its ‘Big Deal’ campaign that will end on 31 October 2017 (or while stocks last). This promotion puts the Renault Fluence Dynamique variant at a special price of RM 89,888 (without leather seats) or RM 93,888 (with leather seats); normal retail price is RM 119,888 (prices are on-the-road, without insurance, for private registration in Peninsular Malaysia).
Register a Fluence within the campaign period and you will get a 5-year (unlimited mileage) full manufacturer’s warranty. For an additional RM 3,500, you can also opt for a 5-year or 100,000km service package (inclusive of parts and labor), which comes with the ‘5-in-Fluence’ after-sales package. Other features of the ‘5-in-Fluence’ package are:
- Complimentary 24 hours roadside assistance*
- Pick-up and delivery during scheduled maintenance at Renault service centres
- Mobility service of replacement car in the event any part is not available for over 48 hours at authorised service centres, subject to availability

To recap, the Renault Fluence is powered by a 2.0L petrol engine that is mated to a CVT X-Tronic gearbox and produces 143 PS and 195 Nm of torque (if these sound familiar, it’s because they’re from Nissan, which is owned by Renault). Boot space of this C-segment sedan is a generous 530 liters, which can be expanded by folding the 60:40 rear seats.
