After your warranty/service period expires, send your car to Auto Reign (Tel: 77852800), as some one mentions earlier.

Small shop, but very friendly staff and Clement (the boss) is very pleasant to deal with!

He keeps you informed about the problem with your car and advise you on what's logical to do next.

Charges way cheaper than VW or Euromobil.

BTW, he gets his parts directly from Euromobil, so, its all 100% genuine.

Both my audi A4 and new Beetle are maintained by him and his 3 staff. I only have praises for these guys.

They are located at Petaling Utama, off Old Klang Road.

Give them a try.

Tom is that the shop near the Hyundai showroom? On the left after we passed the junction turning into Jalan Gasing (coming from OUG / Taman Desa)? I saw a lot of old audis parked outside. are they for sale?

I see VW Malaysia mentioned here. They are the Principals and don't sell directly to you or service your cars.

VW Cars Sdn Bhd and Wearnes are the dealers you buy from. VW Cars have their dealership terminated by VW Malaysia, recently. The reason must be obvious.

VW Malaysia must choose their dealers more carefully. smile.gif

My dad got angry and told them off "I asked you to rotate the tyres, you can rotate the tyres without rotating the rims, right?". And there he waited for another 2 hours for that to be done.

I reckon 2 hours is very acceptable time taken to take out the tires from each rim, put them onto different rim, balance them etc. Considered fast already.

then u are a very patient man. I consider 30-45 min max for a rotate/balance job at a reputable tire shop

It took the tires shop that long just to rotate the tires without any balancing and changing of rim on my car.

Big brands selling small number of cars are very disincentives to continue after sales support. When they see sales figure fell below 1,000 unit per annum, their future were already numbered...referring to Waynes Group!

The same faith was also befalling on other continental makes sold in Malaysia. The number of units OTR did not allow match the total amount invested estimate about >RM2mil for each service centre. They were running at lost as depicted in their attitudes towards owner who needed their after sales support.

Live with it when you had made a bad decision to own a VW brand!

Hi everyone,

It is been sometime since I do some posting on the forum but decided to join the gang anyway. Currently I own 2 VW Vento and Bora and I am pretty sure the only one in Malaysia having 2 VW of this combination in the house. Although my future 3rd car will be a VW also, I am not bother much about bringing the car back to the authorized service centre. Reason being, the car will have no problem for the first 2 years. I have access to full workshop manual and diagnostic tools but I have my regular workshop the car too. I have yet to met a SC or VW technican that knows what they are doing except a few individuals from the days of Auto Dunia.

The reason I wrote this post is because I manage to pursuade 2 of my fiends to get a Polo GTI and VW Golf PLUS as I told them the car is good quality but then the service experience was bad. I felt guilty since they are already the car now but had to go thru the pain of service centre. Let me share with you

Polo GTI
======
My friend car complain has some squeaking sound at the door. Rather tha checking, the SC at Wearner meantioned is the way the Polo GTI is design that the when you take corner is normally. What crap...!!!!!!!! and lie...is that making them a engineering expert. I have access to ELSA VW and no service bulleting mentioned anything about that

Golf Plus
=======
Complain that brake had squeaking sound. Told my friend to told to SC to check the brake caliper. You know what they did, they plug in the VAS 5052 diagnostic machine and say that there is no fault. Therefore no problem with the brakes.Hello...!!!! This meachnical problem. I dare to say that you can take out a screw from the brake caliper and the VAS 5052 diagnostic machine will still say the brake is okay.

I had the chance to talk the SC over the phone. The first question he asked what car am I driving ? I told him I had 2 VW for the last 5 and 10 years already. Then he dare to say this statement "ALL VW 2007 Modes brake caliper has squeaking sound..!!!!!" Great story... It will be great to have it in written if they dare to make such statement.

Lastly I believe why the crapy attitude and service is because. No worries for the SC and meachnic. One will still receive monthly salary and I am not penalised anything if one done a bad service on the car.

I don't see the VW service centre will improve in this lifetime. Reason being "No accountability". I feel sad and dissapointed after reading this article.

Both of this is at VW Wearnes Sungai Besi. I stand by my story and I can be contacted anytime via jktlee@streamyx.com if VW Malaysia or Wearness is seeing this article.

Thank you for reading this everyone.

Regards
