That's normal for all the campro engines. It's it's characteristic to
help smoothen the gear change. It's like when we manually blip the
throttle during the gear change. Good for slow shifters.

drex, the blip doesn't work. 2nd gear still hard to engage from 1st gear.
It even harder to engage from higher gear position. funny thing is, it is
easier to engage 1st gear from any gear position.

this blip is not "that blip".. it's double clutching that you need.
Anyway, be adaptive when you change car. I test drive different cars
daily, including our persona. I didn't even notice such problem.

From the owner manual, IAFM model consume 0.1 more (7.5) than non-IAFM at
(7.4) liter petrol. how about that? I tot IAFM is more frugal.

just use a lightened crank pulley and an after market exhaust manifold.
sure feel the power all across the rev range.........

my fren (mechnic) suggest to replace whole set of exhaust for increase
our persona pick up? What do you think?
