drex, it does affect on the power delivery at low to midrange.

at 60-70kmh above serdang toll (from the mines) can accelerate uphill
without the car changing into 3rd gear. before fixing, theres always lack
of torque and the transmission will quickly hunt into 3rd.

damn! i just love it!!

Mine is IAFM manual mt, never driven the 'old' version so I don't know how
bad is it. From my experience with IAFM, below 2000rpm the torque is really
bad (with aircon on). It feels like the flywheel is too light (rpm drop too
fast). You really have to shift super fast from 1st gear to 2nd gear to
catch the rpm before it goes under 2000rpm especially if you drive uphill.

Maybe after 10000Km service, I'll try rev beyond 3000rpm. That way I think
there is ample of time for 2nd gear shift.

spongebob,

Keep below 3k rpm before 10k km?? Is it typo, do u actually mean 1k?? 10k
km is way too long...

Normal break-in instruction, keep rpm below 3k before 1k km, once a while
hi rev btw 1k-5k km, can go hi rev all the way after 1st oil change at 5k
km.

My bro in law Gen2 H-Line mt (Non-IAFM) broke his crankshaft in less than 6
month after he bought brand new. So I don't wanna it to happen to me. BTW
is it ok to change to different brand of engine oil?. 1st service I use
Helix semi syn at authorised SC, but for the 5K service I wanna have oil
change at PESC and to have some part replaced under waranty. PESC only have
Petronas Syntium
