nope, without catalytic converter, unleaded petrol is more hazardous than
leaded petrol.

light weight pulley is good choice...more pick up

free flow exhaust...more pick up but also more fc...wallet or pick-up, u
choose.

Or remove the rear seats & interior trims..then car lighter and can shed
0.5s in quarter mile run..Tongue

I think we've went too far off the topic.

Topic starter is looking for ways to FIX the problem and I think the only
way to FIX it (as in removing the torque dip) is to have either IAFM or
CPS or both.

Well, that practically means change the car. No?

i use ram-air CAI on my persona, which to me is just good enough. no way
can proove it, coz it doesnt work on a dyno.

but the faster i go, more air is fed to the engine. cold and fresh air
that is. the faster the better.

by the time you reach the speed that the air-ram is taking effect, you
have already passed the gear ratio and rpm range that matter you most.

i also enquired at "i-care" and SC - same findings as haikaliium - IAFM
is not a possibility as a retro-fit.
I asked a couple of garages if they know of IAFM as a retro-fit - not
available.

Gratefull if anybody finds out differently & lets us know.
