Yes it applies to Berlingo II as well. Mine is slightly more than 1 year
old and done > 45k. Last service, complaint to the SA and is waiting for a
cable to replace next service. Was told that it's typical of Berlingo. The
clutch will last till around 60k.I was quite shocked but this is a
Directional mechanic who told me. I supposed he's not trying to scare me.
Also, some click noise when you wind down the driver's side window, also
typical. Next service to rectify. Make sure your car is covered up to 3
yrs/ 100k. Mine is or should be until I sent in for the 45k service. Was
told mine is not covered up to 3 yrs/ 100 k. Contacted the dealer I bought
the car from and get it sorted.

Hi Sayfat,
Is that a serious problem? I was at JPJ Ipoh together with the salesman
this morning for registration. Mine is Saber color model 2004. Coverage 3
years/100k km. Where that click sound came from? Izzit from the engine?
This is my 1st continental car after 2 iswara's. I hope i wont be facing
nightmares owning it.
TQ

Nope, you won't be having nightmares. It's a good car, just that there are
minor problems. Your car may or may not have the problems. The click sound
is something from the winder of the window. Just need to replace one of
the parts.

Dont worry it is a wonderful vehicle .Only clutch cable gets
heavy after a while just spray lubricant at pedal and it improves
slightly. Not very heavy like lorry but more like conti heavy.
Cool

You can only use synthetic oil coz service interval is 20,000km.
can use 15w-40 ANY good brand is suitable, especially Esso or Total.

Heard from my friend that now Citroen is giving discount of RM10,000 for
new Berlingo 2, but only for this month (Jun). Is't true ????? Can anyone
confirm this.
