Go get one it is the most affordable cit at the moment, It is the most
versatile vehicle for that money. If you have kids better still, teach
them to play marbles at the rear there is ample space instead of computer
games. It has enough power, economy is xcllent 32-35 mpg, quiet, smooth,
handles like a zx [suspension front same as zx, rear same as 405} very
reliable, only clutch cable gets heavier after 2-3 yrs.Big SmileThumbUp

2-3 years?

Wow.. they've improved. I remember Brij and Surjit complaining about how they went heavy
after a few weeks.

Surjit was saying that he went to Directional to have it replaced and they came back with the
very Proton reply of "Oh.. itu biasa, bang"

To which good ole Surjit replied "Kalau macam itu untuk satu tahun punya warranty you
tukar itu clutch cable setiap kali lah".

This was about 2 years ago and I remember laughing about it a lot. Teach them Directional
people a lesson.

And the people at PSA too... I wonder how many Berlingo owners did what Surjit did. Serve
em right too..... they would have been drowning in clutch cable warranty returns.

HAHAHAHAH

I'll second and third that! The clutch getting heavy and jerky is about the only real fault I can find
with an otherwise excellent car. Easy work around though, a little silicone spray on the clutch
cable joint/assembly and it's smooth again.....for a few months at least.

Thanks, brijo. Besides clutch, any other quirks, problems? The back
passenger window can tukar to open bigger, ah? If air-cond rosak, very
stuffy belakang. TQ very much.Smile
