Do you know the condition of this road? Is it still a road for 4X4s?

Some of the route still unpaved. Normal car can use the road but hancuslah
your suspension. I think 10km still like that. Luckily I'm using my
Kembara. Most of the road still used by loggers lorries.

yeah the road had been gazatted from so long a go. they planned to paved
this road in d eightees. infact most of the roadwork/eartwork had been
completed... once ku li challenged TDM n lost, as a lesson to kelantanese,
they tarik the project. after all the road is in his constituency.

my brother used to work there, at sungai terah estate. the ppl there said
that the road work had been going on for so long..finally in 1999 they
paved it halfway...

oh btw it's afederal route, so it's out of state jurisdiction... jkr
kelantan got nothing to do with this...

i agree it should be removed from the map.../or should be marked according
as literite road at the sector not yet paved

What a pity! that road connects Gua Musang to the East-West Highway to
Jeli. This is also the road we take if we want to go to G Ayam or G Stong
via nearby Dabong.

this one story reminds me of the stupidity of gazetting the road that's not
yet being paved

1. there's one overzealous policeman from gua musang that love to wait for
the plantation worker who mostly ride their cubcai without helmet n
summoning them..
he is right accoring to the letter of the law as the road is already
gazetted...
but as a human , i think he better go n do something else more meaningful n
justifiable to his salary that we pay him!!

2, once a couple of mat sallehs take their fancy smancy mountainbike via
that road to jeli. After gua musang, the road is still beatifuly paved , so
they can RIDE their after the bridge approaching the sungai terah
plantation, the road begins to narrow but stiil paved...and they begin
having their doubt.. occasionally they stop, and with much difficulty
manage to ask the direction..., yes, the ppl assured them that they're on
the right road to jeli...

after the bridge the paved road r gone n replaced by gravel...crushed
gravel.. so they still manage to RIDE, but Ocassinally had to PUSH the bike

approaching the Sekolah Keb Sungai Terah, the road is built up using
boulder, as big as out head, n possibly bigger...

now confused, they asked the ppl there again who again reassured them that
they're on d right road....
this time instead of RIDING and PUSHING the bike , they've to CARRIED the
bike on their shoulders!!!!

after thorough explaination from the ppl at the planttation, they turn back
to gua musang!!!

poor fellas

the road is partially paved. your cygnus lx470 can take it. the partially
unpaved one is passable... or else you can also take a detour via jalan
kampung....
going to temengor via jeli?

haha, that's juz my nick. I neither own a Cygnus nor afford one. The road
tax is already killing not to mention the car price.

Tried last yr. No detours, all kampung roads are with dead end. Almost
got stuck in a kampung near the railway due to flood.

I am from JB and driving a Vios. Nice chat with you.

cygnus, from JB it is easier to get to Temenggor by taking the NSE
straight to KK and then take the East-West highway straight on to
Temenggor, this is the easiest way, and fastest. If you want to go makan
angin, try new routes, is guess it is perfectly alright then.
