Juz came back. Route #66 is accesible but be careful, too many BIG
potholes and singled lanes. Be careful if u drive at nite there.

1980 km travelled this time...160L of petrol burnt.

2 more interesting encounters in this trip

1. Benta - Jerantut. Super winding, don't use if you carry kids.
2. Kesedar Inn in GM - I thought I was in an abandoned house! TV rosak,
pemanas air mandi rosak, takde recep lepa jam 10, sampah tak buang....

you took Benta/Jerantut? I remember when I was schooling, many years ago
lah, that road was super winding. Lots of areas skirting along the river's
edge. Seems no upgrading has been done all these years.

the straightforward way is to take the karak hiway then exiting at karak.
then via the karak raub lipis gua musang road. from gua musang take the new
road via lojing to cameron hiland. from ch- take the new road via simpang
pulai . from then on via plus hiway back to kl.

or

plus hiway to tapah, take the old road to CH. from ch to GM n back via
lojing road. from CH take new road to simpang pulai n back to kl via plus
hiway.

some more variation. take the route one to Kuala Kubu Baharu cross the main
range at the gap n went down to raub, from raub to gua musang via kuala
lipis -Gm road. From GM take the lojing road to CH. From Ch take the old
via tapah road or new road via simpang pulai back to KL

or PLUS all the way to Smpg Pulai. SP to CH . CH to GM. From GM all the way
to KL via Kuala Lipis road.

Thinking of doin a countryside drive of the above routes. Anyone has any idea which is the more scenic one to take ? Are there plenty of petrol stations along the routes ?

Including the kuala lipis - gua musang - cameron route ? It looks very mountainous on googlemap.
