Mitsubishi Triton VGT Red Peak Limited Edition – East Malaysia-only special
While we may have just witnessed the global unveiling of an all-new Mitsubishi Triton; here in Malaysia, the outgoing model still has sometime to go yet before its replacement arrives.
In conjunction with the Mitsubishi Red Peak Challenge campaign recently launched in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has launched a 10-unit only Triton VGT Red Peak Limited Edition exclusively for East Malaysian customers.
Based on the short bed Triton VGT GS, the Red Peak Limited Edition is decorated with customized body stickers along its flanks and on the bonnet with the racing number of Mitsubishi’s Dakar Rally hero Hiroshi Masuoka on display. Its 17-inch alloy rims receive a matte black finish whilst the leather upholstery inside gets a matching red and black two tone colouring.
The Triton Red Peak Edition is officially priced at RM114,550.00 in Sabah and RM114,640.60 in Sarawak (on-the-road without insurance), but MMM is extending customers a RM7,000 cash rebate with the further option of two years free maintenance or an additional rebate of RM2,000, making it RM9,000 rebate in total.
