Ford’s first 4S in Malaysia opens in Ipoh
Ford’s aggressive growth plans in Malaysia have just taken another massive leap with the opening of its first 4S centre in the country providing sales, service, spare parts, and spray painting facilities under one roof. Situated along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, the new world-class facility is operated by SNS Kembara Utama Sdn Bhd.
David Westerman, regional manager, Asia Pacific, Ford Export & Growth Operation, said, “The opening of this new 4S facility, a first for Ford in this country, underpins our continued efforts to enhance customer service offerings while rolling out a series of all-new, smart, fuel-efficient products for this market.”
Facilities in the new 4S centre include a fully air-conditioned showroom displaying up to six vehicles, a customer waiting lounge equipped with free Wi-Fi and other amenities for the customer’s comfort. For its after sales business, the centre has a service centre, spare parts store, and body repair centre.
Customers buying their new Ford vehicles from the showroom will be entitled to a number of ongoing nationwide Ford campaigns such as the Ford Big Deal promotion, which offers new Ford owners free car insurance, road tax and car registration fees for selected Ford models. Meanwhile, customers who purchase and take delivery of the all-new Ford Focus from this new facility will be eligible to participate in the All-New Ford Focus Challenge to win a brand new Ford Focus Titanium sedan grand prize. Both campaigns end 31 December 2012.
