Honda Malaysia Issues Recall For 2021 City Hybrid And 2022 Civic

Honda Malaysia has issued a product recall for the City Hybrid 2021 Year Model and the Civic 2022 Year Model effective immediately. This is a recall that will affect 630 units of the City Hybrid and 72 units of the Civic.

The proactive recalls are for different issues affecting each of the models. For the 2021 Honda City Hybrid, it is in regards to the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) camera. This recall is a precautionary safety measure to replace the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) camera that is fitted to the front windscreen. There is a chance that the camera may not operate properly and may cause the ADAS to be inactive when driving.

In the 2022 Honda Civic, Honda Malaysia is recalling the affected cars due to incomplete welding in driver  seat slide adjuster. This recall is also a precautionary safety measure to rectify the welding point at the slide adjuster in the driver seat. This anomaly may cause the driver seat to be not fixed in position when driving and may compromise the seatbelt protection for the driver.Honda Civic_Front Seats
