Fast Bikes Sdn Bhd has announced that it is ending ties with Triumph Motorcycles. Come 14 January 2023, Fast Bikes will officially stop being the exclusive official distributor for Triumph Motorcycles in Malaysia. Similarly on that date, Motoradic Sdn Bhd will also cease to be the exclusive official importer of Triumph. However, no reason was officially given for this.

Triumph Motorcycles_Badge_LogoFast Bikes started in 2010 and was responsible for rebuilding the Triumph Motorcycles brand presence in Malaysia. Consequently, Triumph grew into the 2nd largest brand in the 500cc and above premium motorbike segment by market size here. Sales of Triumph bikes also doubled in Malaysia between 2019 and 2022.

From January 2023, Fast Bikes will still be open to Triumph owners for any kind of consultation, as long as your bike is out of warranty. For the bikes still under warranty, you will have to wait for the official word from Triumph Motorcycles UK and/or its newly appointed distributor.

Going forward, Fast Bikes will become a Honda Big Wing dealer, though there is also consideration to carry smaller capacity Honda motorcycles. With this move, Fast Bikes Triumph outlets in Kota Kinabalu, Penang, and Johor Bahru will cease operations. Fast Bike’s current flagship outlet in Section 13 Petaling Jaya however, will undergo renovations to turn into a Honda dealership and is expected to begin operations in the first quarter of 2023.
