With the year-end holiday season starting, more people are expected to travel to different parts of the country either for leisure or to visit family and friends. It can be assumed that a large number will be travelling by car, but now Maxim Malaysia is offering a convenient choice that puts you in the passenger seat when you ‘cuti-cuti Malaysia’.
Maxim Malaysia runs an on-demand transportation service and one of its core businesses is the e-hailing service. Established in Malaysia in 2018, it has grown substantially and its rides can be hailed throughout Malaysia, including Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan.
So for those who travel by express coach or train, you can conveniently order a ride at your destination and easily get around. You could, for example, take the ETS train to Taiping and take a Maxim ride to see what’s left of Captain Speedy’s residence. But even if you had driven to your holiday destination, you can still make use of the Maxim service so you don’t have to worry about looking for parking or getting stuck in traffic jams, like in George Town or Ipoh or Melaka. Just leave your car parked at the hotel and hail a ride out.
The Maxim service is available in many areas, including smaller towns such as Kuala Selangor, Lendu, Kulim, Sungai Petani, Sipitang, Semporna, and more. The Maxim app also allows you to book a ride in advance so you can be assured of transportation when you need it, instead of leaving it to chance the moment you want to go out, whether it is to a museum, restaurant or market.
Pre-booking your ride with Maxim also allows you to get to contact your driver early so that you can plan your trips better. All you need to do is set your locations and schedule your day and time, and wait for a driver to be assigned.
Besides ride hailing, Maxim Malaysia also offers other transport related services such as courier, towing, jump starts, cargo and food delivery.
The Maxim application is available in Google Play, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
