Upgraded Hino 3S Centre Opens In Kota Bharu
The newly upgraded Hino 3S centre in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, has officially opened. Operated by Soon Seng Motors Enterprise (1988) Sdn Bhd (SSKB), the upgraded 3S facility is strategically located in the Tunjong area of Kota Bharu, offering easy accessibility and convenience to customers in the surrounding areas.
SSKB started in 1975 focused solely on vehicle sales. Since then, SSKB had grown and established itself, eventually becoming an authorised Hino 3S centre in 2012. In 2020, it became overall 2nd runner-up in the HINO Total Support Contest. Its latest achievements include bagging 1st runner-up in Top Growth Sales 2021, 1st runner-up in the Excellent Dealer Award 2021 and 1st runner-up for Dealer of the Year Award 2021. These achievements prove the company’s commitment to providing excellent customer service and elevating the Hino brand in Kelantan.
“We appointed SSKB outlet as HINO Authorised 3S centre to offer a one-stop solution under one roof to our customers especially in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This one-stop solution will help us in achieving closer to our goal which is not only to develop product which is a perfect fit for each customer’s business but also to ‘Maximize vehicle Up-Time’ and ‘Minimize Vehicle Life-Time Cost’,” Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Atsushi Uchiyama, commented.

We believe this new 3S centre is convenient and strategic for the customers making inquiries about the latest HINO models, vehicle body work, and attaining aftersales services and genuine parts supply,” he added.
SSKB had invested about RM2 million on this newly upgraded 3S centre sited in a 1.5 acre space. It features a covered workshop area and is equipped with the latest facilities that comply to the HINO standard. The workshop facility has 6 service bays and 15 repair bays. The trained technicians are able to service 8 to 10 vehicles per day or up to 210 per month.
While their trucks are being serviced or repaired, customers can enjoy the amenities provided in the comfortable lounge with complimentary WiFi as well as free flow of refreshments. Besides vehicle maintenance and repairs, Soon Seng Motors Enterprise (1988) Sdn Bhd also offers convenient services for its customers including PUSPAKOM inspection arrangement on a weekly basis, on-site inspection, and 24-hour tow truck service.
SSKB believes that the new 3S centre’s easily accessible location near major routes will help to increase Hino’s brand awareness and sales of its high-quality trucks. Aside from officiating the launch of the new 3S centre, Hino also celebrated a collaboration with the Kelantan Football Club, commonly known as ‘The Red Warriors’ (TRW). Hino will be one of TRW’s sponsors for the 2023/24 Malaysia Super League season and help the team improve its standing in the league. This partnership will also focus on the development of future talents and investment into the overall improvement of TRW.
