Mercedes-Benz Introduces Extended Limited Warranty Programme
Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia, and Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, have introduced the upgraded Extended Limited Warranty Programme to all Mercedes-Benz customers in Malaysia. This programme is a value-added option to owners of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in their 5th and 6th year to have official warranty coverage.
This optional programme’s offerings include the Essential Coverage or Comprehensive Coverage plans with coverage of up to RM250,000 per plan. Owners have full flexibility to choose either a 1-year or 2-year subscription to the extended warranty.
The components replaced under this plan is further covered by a 24-month Mercedes-Benz Parts guarantee which allows for free repairs or replacements at any Mercedes-Benz authorised service network beyond the extended warranty period. The programme also provides unlimited mileage coverage for cars not exceeding 125,000 km before the start of their 5th year, and 150,000 km before the start of their 6th year before opting-in for this programme (terms and conditions apply and customers may inquire further at all Mercedes-Benz dealerships nationwide).

This Extended Limited Warranty Programme is one of the many programmes to come in providing our customers a comprehensive and seamless ownership experience throughout their journey with us.”
The Essential Coverage package covers key components such as air-conditioning, brakes, engine, front-wheel drive, power windows, steering, rear wheel drive in addition to suspension and transmission. While the Comprehensive Coverage will cover 9 additional components on top of the Essential package, including active and passive safety components, airmatic struts, audio system, ECU and tyre pressure monitoring system, instrument cluster, sensors, all other control units and electrical components, in addition to rear entertainment system for selected vehicles across the Mercedes-Benz model range in their 5th and 6th year.
The Extended Limited Warranty Programme can be opted in during or after vehicle purchase, for both new and pre-owned within the first 4 years from registration date. All insured customers will be entitled to a total claimable value of RM125,000 (Essential Coverage package) and RM150,000 (Comprehensive Coverage package) for individually purchased plans; and RM200,000 (Essential) and RM250,000 (Comprehensive) for customers that purchase combined 5th and 6th-year coverage.
