SOCAR Service Now Available At Airports And In Kota Kinabalu
App-based car rental service, SOCAR, is making your travel more convenient in several ways. The SOCAR-2-YOU service offers door-to-door delivery of the car you’ve booked and now, you can opt for your SOCAR to be delivered to an airport. Using this service, there is no need to wait for a taxi or e-hailing ride when you arrive at an airport.
SOCAR-2-YOU delivery is currently available to the following airports:
- Kuala Lumpur International Airport
- KLIA2, Sepang
- Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang
- Melaka International Airport, Melaka
- Senai International Airport, Johor Bahru
- Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, Ipoh
- Bayan Lepas International Airport, Penang
- Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Sabah
You just need to add the delivery option in the “Add-ons” page when you make your booking in the SOCAR app. Alternatively, you can also drive to the airport with SOCAR so you don’t have to use your own car and incur parking fees. Just have a SOCAR conveniently delivered to your home and you can drop off the car at the airport before departing.
With the inclusion of Kota Kinabalu International Airport in the SOCAR-2-U service, SOCAR makes its debut in East Malaysia. SOCAR’s services now cover Klang Valley, Johor, Melaka, Perak, Penang, and Sabah. We received this notice a little late, but existing SOCAR members can enjoy discounts of 80% for their booking in Kota Kinabalu, which is valid until today (24 March 2022). You will need to use the BAHKK80 promo code when booking. The maximum booking duration is up to 5 hours, and the discount is capped at RM50 and limited to 1 use per member.
However, there are still other promotions that enable Sabahans as well as visitors to this city to enjoy SOCAR’s offerings. New SOCAR users will be able to enjoy up to 80% off their booking from 7 March to 5 April 2022, using the promo code TRYKK80. With a maximum booking duration of up to 5 hours, the discount is capped at RM50 and is limited to 1 use per member.
This is only applicable for cars within the Kota Kinabalu zone, but there is no limitation on car models.
Attractive Promos for Daily or Multi-Day Use
SOCAR also has a Short and Long Drive offer which allows you to take short drives or long multi-day trips, at promotional rates. From 21 February to 31 March 2022, the short drive promotion offers a 40% discount on a minimum 6 hour booking, capped at RM60 off. Meanwhile, the long drive promotion offers RM80 off a minimum 28 hour booking.
This service allows you to choose a different or larger vehicle to comfortably fit your passengers or cargo.
