CaltexGO Mobile Payment Can Now Be Used In Klang Valley Caltex Stations
The CaltexGO mobile payment app is now available for use by motorists in the Klang Valley. Chevron Malaysia Limited has launched this integrated mobile payment for a faster and easier way for motorists to pay for fuel, earn and redeem JOURNEY™ card BPoints, locate a service station and view their electronic receipts.
CaltexGO answers the call to reduce “pinch points” for the customer such as prolonged waiting times, and facilitates hassle-free transactions. To use CaltexGO, you only need to launch the app subsequent to registering a payment card and JOURNEY™ card, indicate the station and pump number and fuel up according to your preferred amount. You can also check your BPoints and redeem them for fuel before making payment. Besides the convenience, CaltexGO users also stand to receive attractive rebates and rewards with app-exclusive benefits.

More than just delivering quality products and services, our priority is to improve our customers’ experience and subsequently, continue their journeys on the road. And with CaltexGO, motorists who are keen to get in and out of the service station can now fuel up, skip the queue, and pay,” said Jay Gomez, Country Chairman of Chevron Malaysia Limited.
Chevron had used an agile process to develop CaltexGO, gathering feedback from CaltexGO users in Singapore, Thailand, Caltex family and friends trial users, as well as learning from industry best practices to develop the final product. CaltexGO is currently only available at Caltex stations in the Klang Valley. However, Chevron has set a target to allow customers in other parts of the country to use the app by the first half of 2022.
Even with a mobile payment method, Chevron continues to stress the importance of safety requirements at the service stations. Motorists should only use their phones after their vehicle’s engine is switched off, when inside an enclosed stationary vehicle or when inside the convenience store. Chevron also cautions its customers to be mindful of their surroundings and focus on the refueling task at hand.
First-time users who pump a minimum of RM30 worth of fuel at Caltex will receive a RM5 cashback. You will also receive another RM5 cashback when you pump a minimum of RM30 on subsequent visits (capped at 2 times per user at RM10 cashback; the promo period ends 31 December 2021).
