Fourth MAN Truck and Bus Service Centre Opens In Port Klang

MAN Truck and Bus (M) Sdn Bhd has opened a new service centre in Port Klang. This service centre began operations in August and is MAN’s fourth service centre. MAN has plans to expand its brand presence in Malaysia and offer fleet operators and customers more efficient and timelier vehicle care.

The new MAN service centre is strategically located on Lingkaran Sultan Mohamed 2 in the Kawasan Perusahaan Bandar Sultan Sulaiman in Port Klang. The facility is spread over an area of 91,000 square feet, with ample parking for trucks and buses to be serviced as well as for new vehicles to be delivered.

The 2-storey building and the workshop take up 21,000 square feet to house a customer lounge area within. Customers and drivers will be able to wait in the lounge and enjoy the complimentary refreshments and WiFi while their truck or bus is getting serviced.

All the essential equipment are on hand for the trained technicians to provide the highest level of service and repairs,  including a MAN Cats III Diagnostic system and air-conditioning servicing tools.

The new service centre is also fully compliant to all the standard operating procedures required by the authorities to stop the spread of COVID-19.

MAN Truck and Bus have already made several vehicle handovers at the new centre. Nine TGS 28.440 6X2 prime movers, including one from the MAN XLion range equipped with MAN Genuine Roof Top Air Conditioner RTX 2000, were recently handed over to Taipanco Sdn Bhd and Shallas Sdn Bhd. Three other units were handed over to Eminent JV Group Sdn Bhd.

Commenting on the new service centre, Choy How Sing, Director of Eminent JV Group Sdn Bhd who is a first time customer said, “I am delighted that the new MAN service centre is so near to where we are and I am confident MAN will be able to provide us with the best service for our vehicles’ needs”.

The Port Klang MAN service centre is headed by branch operations manager, Gopinathan Chellayah, and his team who are well trained to provide a comprehensive range of MAN services, including the Mobile24 breakdown service that offers 24/7 support.

Customers can also be assured they can purchase original MAN spare parts and accessories with a spare parts warehouse in the premise. The service centre is open six days a week from 8:30 am till 6:00 pm.
