Perodua Tweckbot Resumes Complimentary Vehicle Inspection Service

The Perodua Tweckbot, the brand’s complimentary vehicle inspection service, has resumed operations after a hiatus during the Movement Control Order. In line with sanctioned SOPs, Tweckbot has put in place comprehensive health and safety measures as precautionary protection for its valued customers and staff.

This long-running complimentary vehicle inspection service will be stationed at Tesco Extra Bukit Tinggi Klang this weekend (12 – 13 September) from 9 am – 5 pm on both days.

For their safety and peace of mind, it is crucial that their Perodua vehicles are in good working order,” said Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

Tweckbot performs over 50 inspection points on each Perodua vehicle including the engine, transmission, cooling system, brakes, power steering, clutch, tyres, suspension and electrical system.

Dato’ Zainal further emphasised that comprehensive health and safety measures will be in place and that these will be the new normal operating procedures for Tweckbot moving forward. As such, all Tweckbot customers will be required to undergo temperature checks and will need to comply with contact tracing protocols as mandated by the government.

“Our technicians will wear face shields at all times and every vehicle will be thoroughly sanitised before and after inspection. Physical distancing and the wearing of face masks apply at all times,” Dato’ Zainal said. He added that for the protection of the public, the number of vehicles inspected has to be limited to slots on a first-come, first-served basis.

Further, Tweckbot will also be at Tesco Puncak Alam from 19 – 20 September, and Tesco Extra Ampang from 26-27 September, also from 9 am – 5 pm, to offer Perodua owners post-long drive checks.

“Perodua wishes all Malaysians a Happy Malaysia Day as we band together as a nation to continue fighting COVID-19. The battle is not yet won, but we are all in this together and as long as we continue to prioritise safety, we will get through this,” said Dato’ Zainal.
