Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia Offers Delivery Service For New Cars

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has launched a new sales initiative to offer VW owners more convenience. Having to live a ‘new normal’ the past few months, a large number of consumers now are quite savvy with online shopping and delivery. Having considered the shift in buying patterns, VPCM is now offering its customers a home delivery service to new car buyers as an additional convenience for its sales platform. This new service is in line with the Volkswagen brand philosophy of “people first”.

The delivery service is available nationwide at all authorised Volkswagen dealerships. There is no charge for delivery to owners as long as the location is within a 20-kilometre radius from their selected dealership.

It is as simple as selecting their preferred model on the eShowroom, finalizing the sales process and having the new car delivered right to their doorstep,” Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM said of the initiative. It further emphasises the company’s evolution to keep up with the new shopping habits of consumers.

“At the same time, this initiative is part of our Safe Hands campaign where we have adopted contactless procedures for both sales and aftersales to give our customers the assurance that their safety is our top priority,” he added.

Buyers of a new Volkswagen can expect their car to be delivered using a single flatbed carrier truck. Your new car will be fully covered in canvas to ensure tip-top condition upon delivery. Further, the carrier trucks are also thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after delivery, in adherence to strict safety guidelines. The truck drivers are trained to practice COVID-19 safety measures and also undergo regular temperature checking.

New owners will receive an SMS notification once their new car has been collected and is en route to them. As an added safety measure, the owner’s Welcome Kit and car keys will be safely placed in the locked car.
