TAITRA Postpones Taipei AMPA 3-In-1 Automotive Trade Show To October 2020

TAITRA Postpones Taipei AMPA 3-In-1 Automotive Trade Show To October 2020

We can’t say this is unexpected news. One could probably see this coming 10 km away. Due to the current unprecedented situation the world is experiencing now, TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) is postponing its Taipei AMPA 3-in 1 (Taipei AMPA, Autotronics Taipei, and Motorcycle Taiwan) automotive trade show to October 2020. The show was originally scheduled for 15 – 18 April but is now rescheduled to 21 -24 October. The event will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2 (TaiNEX 2).

The decision to postpone takes into account the health and safety of all participants and visitors, as well as the various travel restrictions affecting everyone on a global scale.

Taiwan’s automotive parts industry has a well-developed supply chain, with an export value of USD65.3 million in 2019 (as of November 2019), making it one of the most competitive industries in the country. This export value has been the backbone to AMPA’s strength in making it the 4th largest automotive trading platform in the world. Annually the show attracts over 1,400 exhibitors in 4,000 booths, and 7,000 buyers from over 140 countries to visit AMPA to make procurement deals.

Taipei AMPA-04Along with the originally planned car parts, car electronics, motorcycles, and motorcycle parts exhibiting zone, the newest automotive lighting, electric vehicles and intelligent transportation system & solution exhibits will bring the latest technological trends to the show and provide buyers additional options when looking for products from the present, as well as the future. Also, both the electric vehicle trends and intelligent transportation international forums will continue to be a staple at AMPA, while the 1-on-1 matchmaking meetings, the products launch event, and even autonomous vehicle test ride opportunities will bring even more interest to the show.

TAITRA overseas offices have already begun to promote this rescheduled AMPA 3-in-1 show, inviting even more buyers and bringing AMPA to even greater heights.
