Hyundai Motor Company continues its streak of design wins, having been recognized recently for its cutting-edge vehicle design at the world-renowned iF Design Award 2019 for the fifth consecutive year. The Hyundai Palisade and Le Fil Rouge concept vehicle each won the Automobiles/Vehicles category at this competition.
The awards acknowledged Hyundai’s new flagship three-row SUV, the Palisade, which debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2018. The Palisade features groundbreaking capabilities and technologies for all-road driving, safety and speed. Its bold architecture, both the inside and outside, is designed for maximum comfort, roominess and relaxation.
Meanwhile, the Hyundai Le Fil Rouge concept car which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show 2018 embodies a reinterpretation of Hyundai’s sporty design spirit that was first featured in the 1974 Hyundai Coupe Concept.
Dressed in a ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ theme and a new ‘Light Architecture’ approach, this concept vehicle harmonizes the four fundamental design elements of proportion, architecture, styling and technology, and simultaneously combines beauty with function.
