Agensi Pelancungan D & Adik Beradik Sdn Bhd, an established express and tour bus operator based in the east coast, has been a Scania valued customer since 2013. The company recently expanded its bus fleet by taking delivery of 18 new Scania buses from Scania Malaysia.
The handover ceremony was held at the Scania Kuala Terengganu service facility in Gong Badak, where Scania Southeast Asia Sales Director, Daniel Tan, presented the keys to Agensi Pelancungan D & Adik Beradik’s Managing Director Encik Haji Ariffin Daud, who had cited performance, reliability, fuel economy and safety as reasons why it decided to add the Scania buses for its tour operations throughout Peninsular Malaysia.
In addition to contributing to the total operating economy of its business, he also acknowledged the excellent after-sales service that Scania provides, which is crucial for the company’s fleet uptime.
The K360IB4x2 buses feature a powerful engine with higher torque at lower revs and are equipped with the Scania Opticruise gear-change technology that promises better comfort while reducing clutch and synchromesh wear.
Financed by Scania Credit Malaysia since 2015, the buses come with the standard package offering of the two-year free Scania Maintenance; two-year free 24/7 Scania Assistance and a ten-year free Fleet Management System (FMS) package.

Receiving the award on behalf of the company was received by its Managing Director, Encik Wan Md. Zain b. Wan Abu Bakar.
Specially created for its customers, the Scania FMS is a total solutions approach that helps them make informed decisions when it comes to achieving best profitability and efficiency in their businesses. The data gathered from the driver’s performance and vehicle is then used together with methods such as driver training and coaching to increase productivity of the fleet including ways to achieve fuel economy and reduce cost of operations.
