[AD] Best automotive deals and more at DRB-HICOM Autofest 2015
Sales carnivals are usually the best places to get the best possible deals for your car shopping, whilst also offering a host of activities for a fun day out with the family. Indeed, few automotive carnivals in recent memory can match the atmosphere and variety offered by the annual DRB-HICOM Autofest, which returns for a fourth time.
Members of the public are invited to visit this year’s edition of the event to be held from 6 to 8 November at the EON Complex in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. From 9am to 6pm on all three days, all automotive brands under the DRB-HICOM Group, namely Proton, Lotus, Volkswagen, Audi, Honda, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Modenas, Can-Am Spyder, Tata, and Jeep will be present to delight customers with irresistible deals.
Besides cross-shopping between the variety of car brands on offer, visitors can also engage with representatives of the DRB-HICOM Group’s non-motoring subsidiaries, namely PUSPAKOM, Pos Malaysia, International College of Automotive (ICAM), Glenmarie Properties, MASA, and AVIS car rental.
Attractive promotions on offer include RM1,000 discounts plus service discounts for Isuzu vehicles, zero interest for selected Volkswagen models, and free maintenance for Tata vehicles. AVIS will be offering 30 percent discounts from published rates for vehicle rentals booked for the period between 6 November 2015 and 30 June 2016. A total of 200 Proton cars will be auctioned off at very special prices across three sessions on Saturday (11am and 3pm) and Sunday (3pm).
For sports car enthusiasts, Lotus cars are offered with a three-year unlimited mileage factory warranty, two years free service, driver training for one by Lotus Driving Academy, Aquilly Glass Coating, and complimentary one-year membership in Lotus Official Club Malaysia.
Notable attractions for a great day out include performances by Caliph Buskers and No Noise Percussion Show on Saturday along with Elecoldxhot on all three days. A selection of foodtrucks will be present on all three days selling a variety of food and beverages.
That’s not all; visitors also stand a chance to bring home a Proton Iriz and Modenas motorcycles from the event’s lucky draw scheduled at 6pm of Sunday.
