Perodua hosted a group of 80 underprivileged children and 20 single mothers from Hulu Selangor on a shopping-spree-cum-buka-puasa treat at the 1 Utama shopping centre yesterday. Each of the 80 children were given vouchers worth RM150 while the mothers got RM200 each to shop at 1 Utama’s Jusco Departmental Store.

“In the spirit of the coming Aidil Fitri, we would like to share the festive joys with these underprivileged children and their single parent mother by enabling them to shop for their clothes. This is part of our continuous efforts to share with the underprivileged group,” Perodua managing director En Aminar Rashid Salleh said.

In addition to funding the shopping spree, Perodua further added a hand-out of ‘duit raya’ worth RM50 to each children and the mothers as well. The outing concluded with a buka puasa treat at the Kenny Rogers Roasters outlet located in the shopping centre.
