Cycle & Carriage Bintang Sends Customers on Round The World Trip

Kuala Lumpur, 28 January 2010 – A round the world trip is a dream come true for just about anybody, and only a handful ever get to realize such a dream – but for two lucky customers who bought and serviced their Mercedes-Benz cars from Cycle & Carriage Bintang, it was indeed a wonderful boon.

In conjunction with its 110th Anniversary last year, Cycle & Carriage Bintang decided to give every customer a chance by giving away the ultimate travel prize – a trip around the world for two!

The campaign which ran from June 2009 through December 2009 was the second leg of CCB’s anniversary competitions, the first leg being from January through May 2009 in which two units of Mercedes-Benz B Class cars were given to two lucky sales and service customers.

The contest was open to all sales and after sales customers of Cycle & Carriage Bintang who either purchased a Mercedes-Benz from CCB or serviced their existing Mercedes-Benz at any of CCB’s five centres in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru or Ipoh. As part of the contest, customers had to match a vehicle with its headlamps and complete a sentence that started with “Cycle & Carriage Bintang is my preferred dealer for Mercedes-Benz because……”

In the sales category, En Khairool Anuar Arshad submitted the winning sentence for the sales category whilst Mr. Leong Kam Weng was chosen as the winner in the after sales category on account of his winning sentence. Both winners were delighted when presented with the round the world trip for two each. Each package is worth RM110, 000.00.

With more than a hundred years in the industry, CCB has traded more than 50,000 cars since its operations began in Malaysia in 1899 – it is currently the largest and most experienced Mercedes-Benz vehicle dealer in the country.

“It has taken CCB enormous effort to reach this level, but it could not have been possible without our customers. It is with their trust, loyalty and support throughout these years that has contributed to the success of CCB thus far,” said Mr. Wong Kin Foo, Chief Operating Officer, Cycle & Carriage Bintang Berhad.
