@alphawolf: Try to buy from direct owners. They're more likely to be enthusiast themselves and should take good care of their car. I called this seller below. Unfortunately, it was sold last week. He said around 18 potential buyers called. I guess there are many interested party but a well taken care unit is hard to come by.

@chuakz: Yeah, if it goes thru, DRB can use their existing VW SC hence more widespread aftersales support for Skoda cars.
I called the same guy too last week !

it's a shame his car has been sold...it looks to be in fantastic condition. Seems like many people is looking for a solid, well-engineered made-in-czech republic VW...for less than RM25,000-00, I am not surprised.
It's hard to locate Skoda enthusiasts as they don't have their own "fan page"...
