smile_tongue.gif smile_tongue.gif Damn smile_thumbup.gif you must be a pro dragster. I think on modification you has spend more than the truck purchase price?

No not a pro dragster, The idea behind the car is to build a super tough truck that I can drive every day and still roll up and kick some ass on a dragstrip or race track.
It most probably will be Thailand fastest street diesel truck. And if its not I will add the Nitrous kit.
I beleive its the first Thailand diesel truck road or race to get the skirtless forged pistons and rods. As well the first to have a imported custom gear box.
Thailands fastest diesel drag truck runs 9 secs 1/4 with rods made in Thailand and standard pistons. The hope with my truck is it will be strong and relaible as we have only used the best parts available.
On the Thai drag trucks the weakest point is the rods and gearbox so I have atleast those covered.
Like I said I am new to performace cars and have been on a big learning curve.
I have spent over twice what the truck was new

Around 2300rpm is where it starts to spool and peak HP is about 3600rpm and peak torque 3400rpm. They used 5th as they had slipping problems in the lower gears and pulling in 5th from 100 isnt something I would normally do on the road.
Max RPM at the moment is 4500rpm but will push that to 5000 rpm with the new mods.
The stage 4 mods wont be complete until late April or maybe even May. Gearbox was suppost to leave the states this week.
But always up for meeting people with the same interests.
I have been into motorcycles all my life and have just started out having fun with 4 wheels

I read the link you gave, stage 3 alone cost over 300k baht, stage 4 more ohmy.gif

I salute the 5th from 100, that is awesome man smile_tongue.gif . you enter any drag competition? how much the gearbox cost you?

I am selling that hybrid for 35,000 Thai baht, its a made up of a Holeset housing with a borg warner turbine.
Hybid turbos are a mix of differnt size or makes to produce less lag and higher boost.
Yes petrol turbos can be fitted on diesels but lets say a 450hp turbo on a petrol engine will make less only 360hp on a diesel.

rexton use garrett M27 KT2 , what max HP can get from the that turbo?
, on your 1st stage you double the HP , is it necessary to change wastegate?
