As Persona 2008/9 is better built.. maybe those in Persona assembly lines may have resigned or move on. Best car if everything works accordingly. smile_tongue.gif

as i replied in another thread :

Proton can talk hours about quality at their plants but they should figure out what is the condition/quality of their cars reaching the customers. For eg. car is unpolished, engine oil/brake fluid may be contaminated, car rubbers deformed, battery weak, signal light not working, tires not aligned, etc. Proton must do the necessary thorough inspection & test ride & handling and not simply get the agents to hand over the keys to the customers.

1 Malaysia's car - 1 problem in a lifetime
Persona has 200+ parts = 200+ problems in a lifetime
So expect to spend first 1 year owning the car, attending to car problems. biggrin.gif

hi all,

after searching for cars............i still cant choose which one to have.

what i have in my mind now is Persona B line. The reason is brand new, cheaper for monthly (9 years). Is it really bad if not to have M line? this model now come with new 32 bit right? and is it make give effect to the engine response?

On second thought is Vios year 2006-2007...but the price is almost near to brand new persona and if look for 2008-2009 model monthly payment is near to brand new vios 2011.

Just play in my head now is 2nd hand value for persona really drop after have it and pray hope nothing will go wrong with that car. Besides, 2nd hand vios praying not been cheated if the car already met an accident or had major breakdown before.

Hm....tough decision to make when buying vehicle which all of us know its goin to be our "liability"

After all that has been said in reply to this initial question on this thread - the advice in post #2 still stands...
'Do average things - get average results'

if u interested on persona, better go for M line or H line.

for vios 2006-2007... just think for this: 2006- 2011 alr 5 years + another 5 years for ur ownership = 10 year ++.... u need to know wat is the common wear n tear issue for 5-10 years vios... if u okie with that wear n tear cost, then u can go for it...

u also need to know previous owner driving style/service records, else will be a bit risky to take 2nd vehicle esp on engine n gb part.
