went to east cost on Fri 27/1 and back on Sun 29/1, Road Cleared - can do any speed you like (but watch out for wandering cows!!! 1 cow on the highway and many many cows on kampong roads after Kuantan)

no, on Fri 27/1 and back on Sun 29/1 (even today until only after "hinese 15th - chap goh may" still consider is CNY)

Went to North, early on Sunday Morning. Traffic not bad, some areas heavy but still running at 100kmh.
Came back on Thursday also had a good drive.....
Heard my ex-neighbor mentioned Saturday was bad for going North.....
Same same left North on early Sun morning. 110-120kmph smooth drive though traffic heavy. Minor jam due to accident near Ipoh other than tat smooth. 3 hrs arrived already.
Saturday after lunch 1 relative took 8hrs to arrived at same journey. 1 friend spent 2hrs from KL and made a u-turn before Tanjung Malim ... lucky him if not another 8hrs-victim
