There isn't any good time .. example you plan to reach the destination by 10pm and your journey were 5 hours... what you need to do is start your journey at least ONE time early.... 10 hours early....
What i trying to said is to give yourself enf time & good rest before.

Ok, maybe I should make myself clearer. Do traffic jams at the highway only start at, say, mid-mornings (like after 10 am), or worse, start even at 3 am? My "kampung" is very near where I stay (only 30-45 mins away), so I never have to experience what some people have to every year by driving long distance to home.
