Anyone have any idea when is this engine upgrade coming to Malaysia?
Fiesta ecoboost with 180bhp / 240nm, that is what i call a hot hatch. The current spec is rather lame n will not be able to kill the japs.

Bro, if Fiesta putting in this Ecoboost engine, i thing is call fiesta ST , if it fiesta ST, think the price maybe at RM100-120K , and i don't think malaysia will bring in also, but u can special request from SDAC. Just my 2cent

ya, its called fiesta ST.
did some research at Ford UK site. the price different btw same spec ford c-max ecoboost and ford c-max 1.6 ti-vct is about GBP 1,500 only. i hope the price will be RM9X,XXX.
since australia also get their fiesta from thailand and since the australian are crazy about horse power, there is a good chance that the thai factory will produce fiesta ecoboost and made it available for the asean market.
nothing special about the current spec fiesta compare to other RM80K cars at the moment.

Hi Foong2000, is good that u have tot about the good price, but in real life it won't happen, i can garranty u won't get RM9XK for the Fiesta ST or Mondeo ecoboost for RM120K, and one more thing price in GBP is never direct convert to RM due to Bolehland is High Tax country, so bro, if u really want ur dreaming price, unless Bro cruzeon become a PM, then maybe is possible, so bro, wake up!

2) and u want convert a GBP direct to MY?? can u refer to how much the gap between Merz C /E? and tried to compare to the so called CKD merz here..u'll be amazed

Ford's Ecoboost engine is actually already here, powering the CKD Volvo XC 60 2.0T and mated with Ford's PowerShift dual clutch transmission.
Its outputs of 203hp & 300Nm are identical to that produced by the Ford Mondeo 2.0 Ecoboost.
