hi johnckl, just got back from the workshop and it's not really the
mechanic's fault. the clutch plate doesn't work due to the hydraulic
clutch cyclinder. in fact, he took the trouble to check the clutch pump
and hose. finally, when he changed the cyclinder ... it's back to
business! the cyclinder costs me RM35, japanese SEIKEN brand ... and RM15
labor cost for all the trouble. guess i will stick to him for a while :)
now, i will visit a wiring foreman to fix my alternator. $$$$$

hehe! Lucky your mechanic is good and can diagnose the problem, otherwise
have to give him the boot. I heard can fix a stronger alternator couple
with a strong battery DIN 66, gives a strong performing diesel car. Anyone
can confirm that?

Hi chips,do u think that proton should come up with a diesel model, may b
a diesel gen 2,since every car maker have thier own diesel engine even
Ssangyong can produce CDI diesel, why not malaysia proton, where is proton

i use LMST but my dad use 4D63, 1996-97 model. the engine is so reliable.
i think trip meter dah pusing to 0 sekali. Last 6 months the ori engine
kong. so my dad transfer to oso 4D63, but d pomen mentioned it is ori Japs
specs engine. i noticed a big difference in power, especially 90kmh and
above. the pick is so damn strong. feel like petrol 1.5 ngine. but theres
lot of asap hitam kluar when tekan pedal minyak. after dat when u
maintain, its gone back to normal.
for diesel sifu's out there, how to recognize the turbocharged mitsu
diesel ngine. does it have intercooler? blowoff valve? etc? if got one,
wat is d price compared to non-turbo 2.0? hope can help, thanx.

4g13p,
after the engine changed, is the green engine status still there. I mean u
still get 50% off road tax.

Hi,
A friend of mine is selling his Wira Turbo Diesel, a 420i or something. It
is an European market. He bought new in 2001 I think. He is the only
owner. If you are interested, let me know, as I can contact him. He is
selling because he owns too many cars and now he is not doing the long
distance he used to. Last time I saw the car was in pristine condition.
Cheerz.
