Hello fellow S40 owners,
I would like to know what tires are you using currently? Are you happy with them and if not, what brand do you plan to switch to in your next change?
My Michelin Pilot Preceda PP2 are almost 2 years now with 40,000 KM on them. Road noise is getting apparent though the thread seems good for another 6 months or so.
I am less into performance/ speed but reasonable grip and comfort are important. I am willing to consider tire made for comfort vs performance (hopefully less road noise upon aging). Hope to hear your opinion. Thanks.

Hi Airliner,
I am now using the stock tyres Conti Premium Contact. Very noisy indeed...... not recommended.
I used Bridgestone GR80 before in my previous car and was very happy with it. Very quiet and comfortable. One of our forumer in the previous forum also using that tyres, and he said "the difference is like day and night". I believed him
I plan to change mine after this one worn off at 40K km.

yes GR80 is good for comfort and silent, but wet performance is terrible. u can't really rely on it if u r cruising on highway while raining, must be very careful of puddle.
now i am using V12 which is a UHP tyre , value for money, the comfort level is much better than other UHP tyres.
