My friends car was break. The thief used glass cutter to cut the window
glass and enter the car without opening the door. The alarm doesn`t
trigger. Does the GPS alarm have capability to detect this kind of glass
cutter

"Does the GPS alarm have capability to detect thins kind of glass
cutter" I dont think so... GPS system itself is just for tracking where
your car is and more accurate then GSM system (by just using friend
finding option). If you using 2 GPS system .. is just like the movie 007
or some CID tracking another vehicle where to go.

For glass cutter ... you may adding another ultra sonic sensor into ur
original alarm it will trigger.

Dinab,
I felt sorry for your friend. Besides than ultrasonic sensor metion by
H2O, you can try the motion sensor as well. This sensor will detect any
movement inside the vehicle cabin. If there any movement happen, it will
trigger the alarm.

only downside is that if the co. has insiders who relay info to car thieves
syndicate.. Do they run background checks on who they are staffing?

Insiders, that is what I Always Suspect and I use to Advice my friends
(who buy new cars) to alter the position of their alarm wiring or add a
new set for further protection(no guarantee that it be works but worth a
try by trusted installer of course)I did it for my car a few years ago
when it was new. Just sharing opinionTongue
