hi, poorer 1.5K is better then cannot find the car.
like my case, my car couldnt found.
have to pay instalment to bank.
estimate losses more then 10K.

cyang81,
100% agree with you.
Let me list down the trouble a person will face if he/she lost his/her
car;
1. Continue to pay car loan installment while waiting for your claims.
2. worrying about transportation if he/she only own one car, there are
few choices for this problem (travel by public transport
(bus, taxi, lrt, etc), tumpang other peoples car, borrowed car from freinds
or family that have extra cars or buy another car)
3. Ok. let's say u decided to buy another car. What if suddenly the lost
car is found after 2 months. Now u are stuck 2 cars and 2 installment to
pay.
4. lost of NCD as well.

Well Best of LUCK to ALL Car Owners including myself, that those
culpurits don't strike at our place/destination. GPStracker right too, my
brother once got on to the case he mentioned, paying both ways until
insurance compensate, but loss a sum already. Sad Story.
Keep fingers cross and hope all the security systems worth the installing.
rgds cheerio, be happy

H2O,
The system is called DF Tracker.
1) No. I guess your friend case is due to the installer fault. Maybe he
connect the wiring and it will cause the system to consume more battery
power. For example, my demo car have not been started for 8 days during
CNY and everything is fine. The system will alert you and the center if
the battery power level is low.
2) You can use back your original remote control. This system actually
enhance your current stock alarm and not replacing it. Please check some
of the function of the system in my previous post such as
a) ALARM NOTIFICATION (car protection)
b) ANTI-TOWING (car protection)
c) ANTI-HIJACK (personal protection)
d) PANIC BUTTON (personal protection) and many more
3) Yes. You can check the location of your vehicle via Hand Phone, PDA or
PC with the accuracy of 5m and within 10 seconds.
4) Yes. RM75 monthly fixed and it includes;
a) 24hrs control center monitoring .
b) Lifetime warranty (free repair & maintenance as long as u pay the
subscription fees).
c) Free product upgrade.
d) Free map upgrade.
e) No need to download software.
Hope i answer your question.

I don't have much money. If I were to install tracking device on
my car, I would choose captor, because it's YEARLY fee is just about
RM150, compared with this DF tracker, RM900 yearly. No doubt, it's
expensive but it has many features.
So, either you want money saving & less features or vice versa.

zeese,
I have used the Captor before. When i purchase my Perdana V6 in 2003, the
car comes with Captor system and 2 years free subscription. All i can
tell u guys out there is my experience with Captor s*cks. Let me relate
my experience to you.
1. During my entire 2 years using their service, i have never recieved a
single call from them whenever my alarm went off.
2. During March 04, i have decided to test the system whether it works or
not. I have call them to track the location of my car at 12pm. They only
call me at 4pm to tell me that my car is somewhere in Cheras.
The problem here is what the h*ll took them 4 hours to get back to me on
the location of my car?? Do you know that with 4 hours, thoese MOFO
thieves can took my car and reach Thailand already. So, can someone tell
me whats the good of this system??
Secondly, what the heck is somewhere in Cheras? Do you guys know that
Cheras is a very huge area and with so many tamans? So if my car is lost,
i will have to search for the whole Cheras to look for my car is it????
This is not happening to me only. My friends (Perdana V6 and GEN2 owner)
all experienced it as well.
This an advice to all car owners "You only get what you pay for".
