jtsilver,
Actually i did installed NGV in my camry SXV 20 last year & so far so good.
Lucky me that the NGV price remain the same after all this...
Anyway, just share so experience in the latest camry..
Just ride on it as rear passenger with my friends..
The conclusion the seat is abit hard as compared to my camry SXV 20 & this
totally agreed by my friend who rode in my SXV 20.. we also found that the
rides abit hard maybe due to stiff shock absorbers...
Just email me if u want to know more about NGV...
Oh yes, too bad due to our camry is 2200cc, we only manage to get cash for
around RM 100 +++ compared with RM 625 for 2000cc & below.
the onli good thing is that our camry entitle for RM 200 discount on the
road test..

lim275, what is the cost of the NGV conversion? Is it the same for SXV10 also?
Does the ngv tank take up half the boot space?
Are we getting any cash rebate? I thought only the 200 bux reduction in
road tax?

Hi everyone.....
has been away for quite sometimes and thanks for the advise on the my
SXV20 headlamp bulb previously....
It has not been a good day for me....I have just knocked at Toyota MR2 in
MidValley carpark....luckily the damage is not severe...
My Front side lamp is broken and bumper has dropped a little bit....
need to do some repairing and repainting...damm...has painted the whole
car in March and now need to re-do again.....
Anyway...anyone has any idea how much does it cost a used bumper and
Front side lamp....
May be I should have sell off my car at RM43K+++..... is this the correct
market price.....

Well, the small town mechanic does not see the importance of using original
and the stocks for 555 brand was not available, so he used a cheaper type.
It costs RM80 per arm and RM25 to change both. So far so good and anyway, I
do not intent to keep more than 3 years as I am aiming for the 2002 model.
BTW, I just changed the spark plug to the NGK VX platinum which costs about
RM100 per set. The dealer said it is better than NGK G Power. I hope so.
Anyway, while changing the plug, 2 cable's inside pin came off!! I guess it
was too old. The original set was quoted RM288 but I got a used set from
the potong-kereta for RM80. It is running well. At RM2.70 lit, I am making
sure the FC is good.

Oh? I did not inspect it. It is about 2.5 ft long. Each side has 2 arms
i.e. 2 on the right and 2 on the left. I think both ends have bushes which
is why it was changed. One of the bushes are loosened and it will not hold
what it was holding thus the knocking arm. He just called it the suspension
rod.
