Just finished reading all the previous (89)pages (a week ago-tried to
post this but could not go through)and learnt a lot about my car. Most of
my questions have been answered. Thanks guys, it was a good read
eventhough it took some time.

I read that there are 2 chambers for the ATF. Is this true for the SXV
20? If yes, how to make sure both chambers are filled, and, if it is done
by the machine (flush and fill), will both the chambers be filled? Just
did mine, it took 13 ltrs until the ATF became clear. Apparently previous
owner did not change the ATF. The car has done only 53000km. Worried
after reading about the noisy GB. Test drove my car after doing the gb
flush and found that the gear change not smooth, rpm cycles up and down
during gear change when pedal pressed down. The mechanic used Nasa
Dextron III- he said itis the same grade. Is it true or must use only
Toyota brand?

I have another problem that I did not find in all the previous pages. I
changed all the 4 rear stabilizer bars and both the steering boots. After
doing the alignment, the car tends to veer to the left. Alignment done 3
times (Hunter), and all readings are in the green. Despite this, the car
still veers to the left. All 4 tyres are brand new. Will appreciate
feedback from all of you experts.

Thanking you all in anticipation,

For the veer left problem, try to check the steering rack and the bushes.

Your car has done 53,000 or 530,000km?

Justicebao,

My car has only done 53000km, because there is no where to go in Labuan!
Will check as per your advice, Thanks for the fast reply. Anyway, have
you filled up on fuel yet? It is reported that all the stations in KL are
jammed up. Luckily for me managed to save some $$ by filling up both my
cars. All the 5 stations in Labuan also jammed up.

53000KM already has GB problem ah? Umm...check your engine mounting...the
dog bone one...if it jerk on gear change.

Mine still 3/4 full..don't bother to queue up for an hour in petrol
kiosk...Have to pay extra RM160/mth now for petrol..haven't counted food
and electricity yet....in short..everything!!!

RM200 in r/tax reduction is not much also.....

Get somebody so sit inside your car....Then you see the mounting from
outside..Ask the fella inside the car to step the brake and shift the gear
from D to R then to D and R...Try to see if the mounting still in 1 piece
or not...hehe.

Since now fuel price just going up once again at rm2.70. Does anyone
thinking of installing NGV into your camry?

I am in fact pondering over this issue since my family's other 2 kancils
(for tuition purpose) got them install 2 weeks ago. From daily usage of
rm30-35 fuel, now this kancil only consume avg rm6-7 per day per car.
That's about 5 time more saving. Cost for installing into kancil only
rm2500. Less than 3 month, my parent can recover the initial cost outlay.
Sounds very cost-effective.

Any suggestion?
