zombie & jtsilver,

Just back from outstation at JB...

Ok, to answer your question in NGV as below:

So far my place got 3 SXV 20 & 1 SXV 10 with NGV installed..

For our camry , SXV 10 & SXV 20, we have to choices either we want
installed with Mixer system or Sequential system.

For Mixer System, the operation of it is like the carburetor engine & the
cost of installation is cheaper too..It's cost around RM 3.8k to RM 4.2k
with 62l tank.

For Sequential system, it's like the EFI system of the engine..This system
is more advance than mixer system & cost 50% more than mixer system..

For std package with 62l, it cost RM 5.8k to RM 6.2k. But u can change the
tank size to suit ur car requirement.

For myself, i using sequential system with 2 40l tank costing me around RM
6.8k but it will cheaper in KL.

Just pm me if u need more info..

Lim,

How much boot space is taken up?
How far can you go with your full tanks?
How much to fill up full tank?

hahaha..seem Joytoy also interested...

Dun worry, saw few of camry ACV with NGV installed...

I using 2 40l tank & it's taken up 2/5 of the booth space..

Just imagine that 2 my aunties from sarawak & my family of 4 luggage can go
in to booth space for trips to cameron & KL...

Full tank is around is around RM 12++ depending on the pressure..

Can go 150KM for town driving or around 200KM ++ in the highway...

I using sequential system...

there is 1 more Q...

How long it needs to take to fill up the gas tank????? if i am not
wrong...the filling process takes time...

i was told that NGV causes more heat to engine and parts lifespan becomes
shorter.....

pls also becareful that the NGV price is not fixed forever.....who knows
G may increase that also in future....

i dont mean to splash cold water, it is just my opinion....plan first b4
u all instal them.....especially the risk of parts lifespan become
shorter.....

any increase in the engine temperature using as many cab especially limo
has been decom as a result of engine failure after long use

excluding our iswara engine taxi cos its relatively cheap to change whole
engine if kong,

scend,

it's truth that engine is running hotter when using NGV. But the
temperature rise is very minimal.

Nowaday, good NGV installer include special tank of lubricant which can
cool down the engine if this is your concern.

Although i using NGV for my camry, the maintenance wise still the like
running on petrol..

For refilling issue, if u smart enough, u will know which station is less
queue compare others..

Dont compared it with TPM & KLCC station which a private car will avoids it
at any cost cos their queue is always long..

Refilling process usually take around 2 mintues to fill up..

So, before you convert, u need to understand the basic of NGV which i go
through sometime before i convert..
