I'm interested in Swift 1.5 too. This model was launched in August
2007(??), don't think Suzuki dealers willing to give discount at the
moment. Don't mind wait for three more months (counting down year 2008), by
then it will be considered old model. Maybe can ask for more discount
(HOPEFULLY lor).

yeah, the CKD version was launched mid-2007. Swift was 1st launched in
malaysia at the same time Myvi came out. Of course at that time being sold
at RM84k, naturally the public goes for myvi.

But all I can say, pls test drive myvi and swift. Compare which one you'll
have more fun driving, coz this is the main selling point of swift. I
certainly bought one because of that. Wishing I could go for Mini Cooper
but just couldnt afford it yet. Maybe my next car after swift, hehe.

Swift is one of the best suzuki car ever built since 1989 to 2000.. Now old
swift still produced and selling at some country.. Now new design just come
with fun to drive. What my opinion are the FC very good, Good Tough Engine
like Suzuki Swift ever built before, Very2 Good Handling and well known all
over the World. Not like Perodua Myvy just top in M'sia only then some
people want to compare with these car that winning several award. I know
some people just only can give opinion -ve that why M'sia car still
behind.. Perodua is not our proud b'coz not our car 100%.. If u want to
know Proton is our PROUD.. I still support Proton than Perodua.. Perodua
like Naza just change a name for subsidary.. No regret to buy a New Swift
very-very good car like u drive 100k+ car... So if u are the stunt driver I
think u can appreciate it.. If u are not may be u will gv +ve or -ve
feedback..

Tested Swift handling by sharp corner at high speed. Stunning result that I
thought its handling much better than the Accord

Swift Sport? That car is even better and more fun than the plain vanilla

You guys shouldn't be comparing the Swift to the Myvi.

Peroduas are generally targetted at the poor or lower-income folks, they
are basically bread-and-butter cars for the masses.

The Suzuki Swift is intended for middle to upper class car enthusiasts at
a higher premium price.

like if they are in a Golf GTi..
