Yen, changing to a bigger front sprocket (or vice versa, changing to a
smaller rear sprocket) will definately increase the top speed but I don't
think I want to do that. With engine performance remains the same, changing
the sprocket for a higher top speed mean I have to sacrifice pick-up. I
don't think its worth doing it. I guess I would need 4 km of straight open
road to achieve the new top speed (180+ kph maybe) because of the slow
pick-up. How often do I want to go that fast? I would rather try to
increase pick-up. Even now, the bike pick-up is slow that when I go on the
Sepang front straight, I only managed to reach 160 kph at the end of the
staright before I ran out of road to accelarate anymore. Maybe if I can
increase pick-up (the only viable way for me right now is changing to a
bigger rear sprocket, maybe size 50T), I could shave a couple more seconds
of my lap time. And it would put less stress on the engine trying to
accelerate.

Adilz...then wat bout changing smaller sprocket?will it pick up faster
but slower back end?

Saya nak bertanya Naza Blade 250r btl ker orang kata ssh nk dpt brg spare part dan mahal dan btl ker minyak dia kuat makan mintak pandangan skit.. Sbb saya baru nk masuk dlm bidang motor berkuasa tinggi nie..
