RON 92 leaded is dispensed through pumps with bigger nozzles than the
rest. These nozzles will not fit into the fuel-filler hole of most cars
except old models.

Another phobia that most car owners of modern engines, even with
VVTI,DOHC,EFI etc...are pumping 97RON..fear that 92ROn will shorten the
car`s engine life..and also think that "This is fuel injection car la..must put
97RON,92RON not suitable la..". Another would say "Aiya...few sens cheaper
only"..
In fact most modern cars nowdays have manuals stating "Minimum 90-91"
RON and hence the red color 91RON is fine. Should the RON is inadequate,
the ECU will detect it and make adjustments.
FYI Although I am driving a carb car and in fact....I run 92RON with no
problem.

Leaded days are over, all over the world...for the sake of enviromental
issues.

I agree with you ShiftXtrem...
Now days to find the petrol station selling RON 92 quite hard, unless at
Projet,others...banyak susah lorr...Maybe selling the RON92 tak untung..
So if anybody want to refuel RON 92, read your car's manual first! Normaly
it will stated what the min. requirement for your engine. For my Unser, it
is already stated min. RON 95, therefore tak leh buat apa-apa, but for my
old Toyota GL (KE 70) for sure RON 92 is too good! (min requiremnt RON 88
maa..)

Yesterday i filled my KElisa RM20 with Ron92 and full tanked with Ron97
at Projet. This is my first time using ron92. Maybe after a couple of
time mixing it, i'll use ron92 full time. Actually a bit scared mixing
fuel since i used ron97 day1 I bought the car. Thnks everyone for

Aiks...
Toyota Unser with 8-valve SOHC engine still need quite high octane? (No
means of insulting your engine)...thought the engine block derives completely
from the old Liteace 1.8 Premio, just change to EFI fuel system.

Theorically what you are doing is just increasing the RON 92 octane to
around 95 RON (94.5 to be exact).
Read your Kelisa manual again, the first few pages in front (for Perodua)..
If MYVI can do 90RON minimum with their DVVT,DOHC and especially a high
10.0:1 compression engine..why not a lower technological DOHC multivalve
engine?

And I`ve made myself clear, you can`t find anywhere leaded petrol in the
whole world, let alone Malaysia..

If anyone took ur bet, u wud win the bet even rite now, juz read FrshOil's

the industry' that Ron92 Leaded is still sold in M'sia now.

the bigger nozzle is supposed to b meant for Diesel

The diesel nozzle also can fit into a normal gasoline tank inlet.
I`ve tried it before.
The difference is..when u want to fill Diesel, you have to lift up the cover
before you can start filling up.

Wah...like this....I am taking bet ,paying 10 to 1, that there is no more
leaded petrol sold in the country. Any takers?
My problem is, I just had, a few months back in a pub a somewhat heated
argument with a "friend" about this subject, at the end we decided that
there is no more leaded petrol in the country, only Tiger beer is
unleaded ,Carlsberg is leaded and Anchor beer is "minyak lama" RON 92.
